The actors met on the set of their movie Alfie back in 2003. Though Law was going through a divorce from his wife, Sadie Frost, at the time, his chemistry with Miller was undeniable. The director of the film, Charles Shyer, revealed the eventual couple first laid eye on his one another in his living room while they were doing screen tests.
Engagement
Following just one year of dating, Law proposed to Miller on Christmas Day 2004. The actor popped the question in England before they went on a vacation with Law’s three children to Seychelles.

The Nanny
Their relationship imploded when Law’s former nanny, Daisy Wright, revealed she had an affair with the actor. She sold her story to Britain’s Sunday Mirror in July 2005 and Law released a public apology to his children and to his wife. The news took the world by storm, but Miller wasn’t ready to give up on their relationship just yet. In fact, the couple tried to work it out for quite some time following the betrayal.
Parting Ways
In November 2006, after over a year of trying to make things work post-affair, the couple decided to officially end their marriage. The pair reportedly came to the decision together.

Three years after breaking up, Law and Miller reunited in December 2009. They were both in separate shows on Broadway at the time. They spent Christmas together in Barbados with Law’s three children and decided to give their relationship another shot, despite the past. But, after a little over a year together, the two broke up for the final time.
