Josh Duhamel and Fergie made their relationship work in Hollywood for over a decade and seemed to be going strong, but their love story came to an end just a couple of years ago.

How Did Josh Duhamel and Fergie Meet?
The two stars met after her band, The Black Eyed Peas, made an appearance on the actor’s show, Las Vegas, back in 2004. Duhamel had previously mentioned he had a crush on Fergie in a magazine, so when Duhamel introduced himself to her on-set, she already knew he was interested.
The Engagement
After about three years of dating, Duhamel popped the question around the holidays in 2007 presenting his lady love with a 4-carat diamond ring. The pop star had sparked engagement rumors earlier in the year when she was spotted wearing a diamond ring at the American Music Awards, but the couple didn’t officially get engaged until a month or so later.

The Wedding
It was on January 10, 2009, in Malibu, California in front of 375 guests. The traditional Catholic ceremony was held at the Church of Estate Vineyards and was filled with magnolia trees and white roses. Each of their wedding bands was inscribed with a personal message. They gave out caricature drawings of themselves fishing as gifts to their guests — a star-studded affair, as Kate Hudson, Mario Lopez, Molly Sims, and Rebecca Romijn were among those in attendance.
Starting A Family
A little over three years into the marriage, the couple announced they were expecting their first child. They welcomed son Axel Jack on August 29, 2013.
Parting Ways
After over seven years of marriage, Fergie and Duhamel announced their separation on September 14, 2017. They filed for divorce on June 1, 2019, and the divorce was finalized a few months later.
