After eight years of marriage, former All My Children heartthrob Josh Duhamel has called it quits with his superstar singer wife, Fergie. The two have one child — a son.
According to People.com, the famous couple is separating but vow they will always be connected:
“With absolute love and respect we decided to separate as a couple earlier this year,” the couple said in a joint statement. “To give our family the best opportunity to adjust, we wanted to keep this a private matter before sharing it with the public. We are and will always be united in our support of each other and our family.”
Desiring privacy isn’t new for the famous couple. Duhamel and Stacy Ann Ferguson (better known as Fergie) married in a very private ceremony on January 10, 2009 after getting engaged back in December of 2007. The ceremony was so top secret, guests didn’t even receive the actual location on the morning of the wedding.
The couple became first time parents when Fergie gave birth to their son Axl Jack Duhamel on August 29, 2013.

Duhamel shot to fame on All My Children when he was paired with Rebecca Budig’s Greenlee — until the actor quit the show, his character died tragically, and he booked a starring role on the NBC series Las Vegas (with GH alum, Vanessa Marcil).
Starring roles in movies followed, all while he had a very public romance with one of the hottest singers at the time, Fergie, from Black Eyed Peas and her only solo career.
While the People.com article states they separated a while ago, the below posts to Instagram gave no clue that there was trouble in paradise as recently as July.
