It’s apparently over for Nicolas Cage and his new wife, Erika Koike. The actor filed for an annulment from his wife on Wednesday, March 27, just four days after they tied the knot.
The court records show the National Treasure star also asked for a divorce if the annulment is not possible.
Again, this comes just a few days after they legally got married in Las Vegas. The couple started dating almost a year ago in April 2018.
Not to mention, sources told TMZ that Cage and Koike were spotted fighting on Saturday, March 23, just hours after they decided to get married.
Eyewitnesses claim she was yelling at him and that they did not seem happy with one another.
This is not the first marriage for Cage. In fact, he has been married three previous times.
He was first married to actress Patricia Arquette from 1995 to 2001. He reportedly proposed to the Medium star on the day they met. While she didn’t say yes that day, the two did eventually marry many years later.
A huge fan of legendary singer Elvis Presley, Cage went on to marry The King’s daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, from 2002 to 2004.
Soon after, he met 20-year-old waitress Alice Kim. They were married from 2004 to 2016. He also shared a son with Kim and they named him Kal-El (Superman’s true name). Cage also has another son with former girlfriend Christina Fulton.
