Why Did Kyle Richards Break The Fourth Wall And Walk Off RHOBH Season 14?

Kyle Richards broke the fourth wall. On the Tuesday, January 21 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she scrambled for the nearest exit after her castmates confronted her. They wanted to know more about her text messages to Dorit’s estranged husband, P.K. Kemsley. Dorit asked Kyle to share this information with her rather than with everyone else.

What Sent Kyle Spiraling?

Tuesday’s episode was packed with drama. The ladies should have a joyful and relaxing day at Bozoma Saint John’s home. She hosted a sisterhood-themed party that had hunky men giving out treats and massages. Bozoma said in her confessional that Sutton Stracke’s previous message about sisterhood inspired her to throw this party.

The ladies slipped into white fluffy robes and matching slippers. The drinks were flowing, and everybody was feeling good. The vibe quickly changed when Dorit Kemsley was upset that Kyle was sharing her text message scandal with everyone else but her. It was for Dorit to know since it had to do with her estranged husband.

The ladies asked Kyle to explain the text messages to Dorit. She felt piled on. Kyle told Dorit that she couldn’t say anything else because “we’re filming and in front of production.” That’s when Kyle broke the fourth wall and declared, “I am not doing this anymore.” She was already eyeing the nearest exit.

The RHOBH Ladies React

Some of the cast members reacted to Kyle’s walk-out on the RHOBH: After Show. Garcelle Beauvais exclaimed, “I thought we’d never see her again.” Bozoma felt this moment made Kyle look like a bad person. “If there’s any innocent party, it is not Kyle,” she shared.

Kyle explained to Erika Jayne that “there was this pile-up,” which included Dorit. She felt everyone was siding with Dorit even though “they don’t like her.” As for the fourth wall comments, Garcelle was confused about what production had to do with Kyle’s text messages to P.K.

Bozoma thought it was an “excuse” for Kyle not to reveal anything. She believes that Kyle and P.K. were talking about Dorit behind her back. In her segment, Kyle explained she was “scared to say something” during that time and didn’t feel “safe” sharing their text messages. Most of her RHOBH cast members feel she should’ve admitted that she was talking about Dorit.

“I’m not gonna complain about Dorit to P.K. when I have a million people to complain to,” Kyle said with a laugh. Dorit explained that she and Kyle were on the outs at the start of her separation. That’s when Kyle and P.K. became good friends. She’s still convinced they were griping about her.
