RHOSLC Whitney Rose Dyes Hair To Support Her Daughter

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘s Whitney Rose showed up on Watch What Happens Live this week with a new hair color. The reason is touching.

Whitney has been a blonde since we first met her on RHOSLC. But when she came out to greet Andy (who recently clapped back) on WWHL last week her hair was surprisingly red. The host loved it but when it was time to “Work the Polls,” he asked for the home audience’s opinion. While they were awaiting the results, the housewife explained the change.

“To support my daughter, who’s a redhead, and all the redhead teenagers out there who get bullied daily,” she began. “I’m proving a point that when I say redheads are beautiful, I mean it.”

Andy’s other guest, RHONY Dorinda Medley, added, “And unique.” As the polls came in, the blonde look was the winner, but Andy commented, “They prefer you as a blonde, but we love your reasoning.”

It sounds like Whitney’s redheaded 14-year-old daughter has been bullied for her hair color. Mom should be applauded for taking a stand for Bobbie and anyone who is bullied.

Bobbie is the same daughter who recently had a health scare. She experienced “severe asthma exacerbation” and was taken to ICU by ambulance on October 6. She was thankfully released and back home a few days later.

“Bobbie is out of the ICU and recovering at home!!” Whitney shared on her Instagram story. “So grateful for all of your prayers and healing vibes.”
