Days of our Lives, The Young and the Restless, and All My Children alum Chrishell Stause is one of the many celebrity contestants in Season 3 of The Traitors. She hopes she can make it all the way to the end and win the cash prize pot. Both reality TV and soap lovers should watch this thrilling new season. Here are six reasons why.
This season is packed with more drama than your average soap opera. Most of the contestants know each other, which is both good and bad. It’s the Gamers vs. the Housewives. Unfortunately, the Housewives are slowly getting knocked out. The Gamers feel threatened by the Bravo stars even though they outnumber them.
Host Alan Cumming is known for his over-the-top style. But he’s not the only one bringing his killer looks to the show. Bob the Drag Queen and Bob Harper from The Biggest Loser also show off their fabulous style. In fact, everyone’s joining in the fun with their Scottish looks. In a recent Instagram post, Stause referred to herself as “Investigation Barbie.” The All My Children alum wore a light pink sequined blazer over a matching mini-dress and white chunky heels.
The premiere episode kicked off with a surprise twist. Two reality TV legends joined the competition. Challenge winner Wes Bergmann and Big Brother champ Derrick Levasseur were added to the cast in the middle of a challenge. After being voted out of the cast, Survivor winner Rob “Boston Rob” Mariano was chosen as one of the Traitors. Cumming informed him that he would become a Traitor, in addition to Bob the Drag Queen, Carolyn Wiger, and Danielle Reyes.
This season, it’s all about men versus women. The women feel outnumbered, especially when the show brings out three male contestants. They band together to take the men down. Even the two female Traitors, Survivor champion Carolyn Wiger and Big Brother alum Danielle Reyes lean on each other as they figure out how to fool the Faithfuls. In the premiere episode, the women called out the men for not picking up the slack during the first challenge. Talk about girl power!

Stause gets into a feud with Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval. In the first episode, he called her out for acting strange during the round table. Sandoval was convinced that the Selling Sunset star was a Traitor. Stause reminded everyone that she’s friends with his ex-girlfriend, Ariana Madix, whom he cheated on during Season 10 of VPR. The soap star claimed it was a personal move.
Season 3 became an instant hit. The reality competition is the No. 1 unscripted series in the U.S. on the streaming platform. Fans keep coming back for more. They can’t get enough of the American series. This has also led to the success of the international versions, which will also be available to stream on Peacock in the next few months.
