Tom Schwartz is a frequent guest on Summer House. He is a friend of the cast, especially OG Kyle Cooke. On his visit to the Hamptons for the “Snoozefest” party, Tom was feeling nostalgic.
The Good Old Days
Once upon a time, servers and bartenders from Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant Sur got their own reality show called Vanderpump Rules. They dated, traveled, fought, made up, and friendships were made and broken, all in front of our eyes. Fast forward 11 seasons, and everything has drastically changed. There have been marriages, divorces, babies, friendship-ending fights, and, of course, “Scandavol.” Bravo has decided to scrap what was left of the cast and start fresh with a new group.
Schwartz is a sentimental guy and obviously misses the good old days at VPR. During his recent trip to the Hamptons house, he got nostalgic and tried to warn the housemates to do things differently than they did in West Hollywood.
In Bed
Housemates Paige DeSorbo and Ciara Miller tend to spend a lot of time lying in bed. Tom stopped into their room the morning he was packing up to return home. He wanted to thank them for allowing him to step into their “happy little world.” He decided to say much more. “You’ve gotta cherish this. Cherish it,” he told the besties, as they lounged in bed. “I used to have a happy family in L.A., and now everyone hates each other. We all hate each other. You’ve gotta cherish this, OK? It’s very sacred.”
When Paige insisted that she and Ciara are “gonna love each other forever, no matter what,” Tom replied, “That’s what I used to say! Now we’re in complete disarray.”
The prior evening, Tom had a conversation with Kyle. He told his friend how “nice” it was to “feel like a whole human for the first time in a few years” while visiting the Hampton house. “I’m very fulfilled, but there is a void in my life, and that’s… not having kids,” he shared with Kyle. He had planned on having a family with ex-wife Katie Maloney, but the couple divorced in 2022.
Tom had a great time with his friends on the East Coast and maybe gave them some sage advice. Did you enjoy Tom’s visit? Let us know in the comments.
