When most people think of the Gilmore Girls, they tend to think of Pumpkin Spice Season. For some reason, the hit WB drama has been associated with the autumnal season. Maybe it’s how Stars Hollow looks with the leaves falling.
In the early aughts, the show combined a sense of coziness with sarcasm and wit. Now, the show is returning to the small screen, just in time for the holiday season. Also, find out how you can watch your favorite characters again.

The holidays are just an extension of fall and all things cozy. Walmart partnered with the Gilmore Girls in its 2024 holiday ad campaign. It’s like nothing changed. Kirk (Sean Gunn) opens the ad and walks into Luke’s (Scott Patterson) coffee shop with a huge package. He delivers it to Luke, and the two exchange words.
Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) makes a surprise appearance. She holds a coffee cup and says, “Coffee, coffee, coffee, please.” He pulls out the box from behind the counter. Luke gave Lorelai a Keurig K-Duo Essentials, Hot & Iced Single-Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker & Carafe machine for Christmas. He joked that she’s “drinking him out of business.”
Lorelai looks pleased with the kind gesture. Then, Luke and Lorelai head outside to enjoy the winter wonderland. This will certainly put a smile on your face if you’re a fan of the show.
There are many ways to watch The Gilmore Girls this holiday season. You can watch all seven seasons on Amazon Prime. As always, you can watch Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life on Netflix. The revival series followed Lorelai, Rory (Alexis Bledel), and Emily Gilmore (Kelly Bishop) throughout four seasons of change. (Read these 5 fast facts about Bledel.)
The beloved series is celebrating its 24th anniversary. Unfortunately, there are no plans to bring it back into primetime. What are your thoughts on the Walmart ad? Do you miss the Gilmore Girls? Let us know in the comment section.
