Vanderpump Villa Season Two premieres Thursday, April 24th, with all 10 episodes on Hulu. There are some major changes this time around.
New Places New Faces
Season One of Lisa Vanderpump‘s latest reality show took place at the French estate “Château Rosabelle”, but this year, the location was moved to a 12th-century castle in Italy. The castle, which Lisa renamed “Castello Rosato,” is known as the oldest hotel in Italy and is set in the middle of the beautiful Italian countryside.
Along with the new location, LVP has brought in a blast from the past. Vanderpump Rules alum, Stassi Schroeder, is along for the ride. She is Lisa’s “eyes and ears” in the castle, helping her out with the staff. Also making an appearance this season are familiar faces from Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, including Demi Engemann, Jennifer Affleck, Jessi Ngatikaura, Layla Taylor, and Mikayla Matthew.
She’s Back
Stassi and Lisa have a history. Stassi was a server at Lisa’s West Hollywood restaurant, Sur, and one of the original VPR castmates. The two often clashed. Stassi was fired from the show five years ago and has since become a wife, mother of two, and a podcast host.
They are back together again. They both spoke with People about the change in their dynamic this time around. “I thought that there was also a different energy between us because prior to that, I mean, it’s many years ago, I was always her boss and chastising her,” Vanderpump explains. “So to actually come into a reality television with a different equation, it felt kind of like we could be this close together.”
“Yeah, way less stressful,” Schroeder agrees. “But there is always that element of Lisa will always be somebody who I hope to impress — who I hope is proud of me and my choices.”
