James Van Der Beek and his wife, Kimberly, brought their sixth child into the world. Their son, Jeremiah, was born this week. The couple kept the pregnancy under wraps after suffering two late-term miscarriages back to back.
Big Brother alum couple Dani and Dominic Briones are parents of two! The family was pleased to meet their second daughter, Lux, on November 19th. She joins her three-year-old sister, Tennessee Autumn.

Kevin Spacey’s bank account is about to become significantly lighter. He’s been sued by House of Cards production company, MRC. The settlement, to the tune of 31 million dollars, is due to his breach of contract after Kevin was dismissed for allegedly violating the company’s sexual harassment policies. Tori Spelling had heads turning when she posted her Holiday card snap sans her husband. Tori shut down rumors she and Dean McDermott split but that didn’t stop the questions. It seems the stress of it all may be getting to Dean as he was recently photographed in a fistfight during a hockey game.

Entertainment News: In Memoriam
The Aykroyd family is in mourning this week after the loss of Peter Aykroyd. The Emmy-nominated SNL alum and writer died on November 20th. Outside of his time on SNL, he is known for his role as Elwood on The Blues Brother Animated Series. Deadline has the full story.
Malcolm X’s daughter, Malikah Shabazz, was found dead this week in her Brooklyn Home. She was found unconscious by her daughter who then called for help. Unfortunately, it was too late. The police have not deemed her death suspicious. Malikah was one of the twins Malcolm X’s wife was pregnant with at the time of his assassination.
Celebrated Oscar-winning costumer, Wada Emi, died this week. Her family did not disclose where or why she died but did inform the media of her passing on November 13th. She was 84 years old. Variety has the story.
Famed actor Lou Cutell died this week at 91 years old. He spent the majority of his adult life in Hollywood and is remembered for his roles in Betty White’s Off Their Rockers, Glam, Alice, and as Dr. “Assman” Cooperman on Seinfeld. Read his memorial here.
Gifted actor Joey Morgan died on November 21 at 29 years old. Best known for his role in Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse, he was well received in the world of Indie films and received honors by Indie Wire as being a breakout talent at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival.
TV writer and playwright, Dominic Orlando, succumbed to cancer on November 19th at the age of 57. He is known as the scribe behind smash hits such as The OA and Mindhunter, and Them.
Critically acclaimed composer Stephen Sondheim passed away at 91 years of age. The Oscar and multiple Grammy-winning artist started in the entertainment world in the early 1950s and his career will continue on posthumously with several films coming out in 2022. Playbill has all the details.
