Entertainment News: Love & Family

Sister Wives star Mykelti Brown Padron welcomed twins. She and Tony Padron proudly announced twins Ace and Archer who joined big sister Avalon. Mykelti is the daughter of Christine Brown and Kody Brown.

Is Leonardo DiCaprio dating? That’s the rumor! He was seen out and about with 27-year-old supermodel Gigi Hadid who said the movie star is romantic.

Jennifer Gates and Nayel Nasser are expecting their first child together. The couple, who wed last year, is excited to bring a new baby into the home. Jennifer Gates is the daughter of Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates.

Valerie Bertinelli is officially and legally single. The star finalized her divorce from Tom Vitale on Tuesday. TMZ reports Valerie was ordered to pay out her now ex-husband to the tune of $2.2 million. Tom was then ordered out of their Malibu home.

The Good Doctor star Noah Galvin is engaged. He’s quoted as saying he “cried for like 7 hours” after his now fiance Ben Platt proposed. The two became close while on Broadway when Gavin took over Ben’s role in Dear Evan Hansen.

Gold Star Accomplishments

Amy Schneider was back on the Jeopardy! stage again this week and winning big. She won the Tournament of Champions and claimed her victory. Amy is the first-ever transgender contestant to qualify for this prestigious round on the game show.

Entertainment News: Celebrity Scandals & Hot Topics

It’s off to jail for Todd and Julie Chrisley. He was sentenced to twelve years in prison on tax evasion and bank fraud charges. Julie received a lesser sentence of seven years.

Amber Heard is heading back to court – this time with her insurance company. She is countersuing in an attempt to force New York Marine and General Insurance Co. to pay out her verdict in the Johnny Depp defamation case.

Below Deck’s Kyle Dickard was arrested on Thursday after storming a soccer field in California. As if that’s not enough, it is alleged he tried to bribe the cops when they cuffed him. TMZ has the full story.

Casting & Changes

Brandy Norwood is about to receive the royal treatment. The star is reprising her role as Cinderella for the Disney+ movie The Pocketwatch. This is a role she played 25 years ago and the Grammy winner is thrilled to have her princess crown back on her head.

Good news came when HBO Max picked up the Degrassi series for a reboot set to air in 2023. Unfortunately, the series has been scrapped. The cancellation comes after Warner Brothers merged with Discover in April.

Entertainment News: In Memoriam

The Power Rangers franchise lost another of its stars. This week, Jason David France, who played Tommy Oliver aka the Green Ranger, has died. According to reports, the star took his own life. He was 49 years old.

Academy-Award-winning actress, singer, songwriter, and producer Irene Cara has passed away at age 63. Best known for her iconic role in Fame, and her musical contributions to the movie soundtracks of Fame and Flashdance in the 80s.

Former Music Executive and Martha Stewart Living chairman Charles Koppelman died on November 25, surrounded by loved ones, at age 82. No cause of death is available at this time. As a music exec, he played a key role in the careers of Barbra Streisand, Billy Joel, Dolly Parton, and Cher.

Dr. Feelgood guitarist, Wilko Johnson, died at 75 due to pancreatic cancer. His career experienced a renaissance after his terminal diagnosis in 2012. Johnson’s edgy look also earned him a role as the silent executioner Ser Ilyn Payne on HBO’s Game Of Thrones.

Gone with the Wind child star Mickey Kuhn died on November 21. He was famously known for his role as Beau Wilkes in the iconic film. Kuhn then went on to have roles in I Want a Divorce and Red River. He was 90 years old.

Hollywood stuntman James Winburn passed away on November 21. He was the man behind the Michael Myers mask in the 1978 cult classic horror movie. He was 85 years old.
