Entertainment News: Love and Family

Move over Renesmee, Taylor Lautner has a new woman in his life. The Twilight star put a ring on Tay Dome’s finger this weekend. Team Jacob can look forward to watching their favorite star walk down the aisle in the near future.

Reality stars Angel Brinks (Basketball Wives: LA) and RoccStar (Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood) welcomed their son into the world. This is their first child together. RoccStar has a son from a previous relationship and Brinks has two other children with previous partners.

Speaking of Basketball Wives, executive producer and star, Shaunie O’Neil, has a brand new ring on her finger. She said yes to her boyfriend Pastor Keion Henderson last weekend. People Magazine had a first look at the couple’s engagement.

Former Bachelor star, Ben Higgins has finally found love. The reality show hunk took his vows with Jessica Clark in a dream ceremony in Nashville with personalized vows and a reading from Winnie-the-Pooh.

Vanderpump Rules and RHOBH star Lisa Vanderpump is finally a grandmother. Her daughter, Pandora, welcomed her son, Theodore, on November 13. Lisa has already coined herself Nanny Pinky.

Entertainment News: Illness and Injury

Derek Hough may not be on set for the final episodes of this season’s DWTS. The famed dancer and judge are on the sidelines after testing positive for Covid. For now, he’s in good spirits and hopes to make a full recovery.

Princess Charlene is undergoing treatment for profound exhaustion, according to her husband, Prince Albert. His wife just spent a six-month stint in South Africa fighting through an illness that included multiple surgeries. She is said to be recouping and recovering and her family hopes she gets well soon.

Tiger King’s Joe Exotic got his wish to get out of prison, but he’s not free yet. He was transferred to a federal medical center while he battles cancer. The Netflix star has an aggressive form of the disease and it was decided he needed extensive medical services – much more than the prison could give him. TMZ had the details.

Celebrity Scandals

Tamar Braxton is in the market for a new alarm system after a home invasion. The star’s house was burglarized on November 17th. The family is safe but shaken up. Tamar shared her story on Instagram.

A possible Hollywood murder mystery has begun in Los Angeles. Aspiring model, Christy Giles, was found dead on a sidewalk and her friend was discovered brain dead in a hospital on the same day. In a weird twist, both were dumped at those locations by the same unmarked car. The police suspect drug overdoses but Christy’s husband strongly suspects foul play. TooFab is covering the story.

Rapper Travis Scott is facing nearly a billion dollars in lawsuits from his Astroworld festival. Also listed on the paperwork are Drake, Live Nation, and Apple. More than 125 fans have dropped suits with more expected to come.

Actress Eliza Dushku bravely spoke her mind during a Congressional Committee meeting pertaining to her firing from the hit show Bull. According to Eliza, she was let go after sounding the alarm to the sexual harassment she was allegedly suffering by her co-star, Michael Weatherly. Casting About

Harry Potter fans are in for a treat. The triumphant Gryffindor trio is reuniting for a special on HBO Max. Return to Hogwarts will feature Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson as the alum honor the 20th anniversary of the franchise. Variety has all the details.

Sesame Street’s cast got a little bit bigger this week with the introduction of Ji-Young, the show’s very first Asian-American muppet. The show welcomed their new castmate with puppeteer Kathleen Kim pulling the strings of the groundbreaking character.

Mel Gibson made headlines this week. The controversial star is will soon be behind the camera directing Lethal Weapon 5. The famed actor is taking the reins from Richard Donner who directed each installment for the franchise but died on July 5th. Variety has all the details.

Entertainment News: In Memoriam

Musician Chris Daughtry is in mourning after the sudden death of his daughter, Hannah. The 25-year-old was found dead in her home on November 13. Her death his being treated as a homicide. Hannah’s boyfriend Bobby Jolly  has been arrested but the reason for his arrest has not been announced. TMZ is following the story.

Days of our Lives and RHOBH alum Lisa Rinna and her family suffered a great loss this week. Rinna’s mother, Lois passed away at 93 years old after suffering a stroke. The actress’s daughter, model Amelia Gray Hamlin took to Instagram to memorialize her grandmother.

‘Bones’ alum Heath Freeman died this week. The star, known for his role as the murderous Howard Epps, passed away at 41 years old on November 15. He is said to have taken his last breath in his sleep.

Grammy-nominated songwriter and jazz musician, Dave Frishberg, has passed away at 88. He was widely known around the world for his contributions to Schoolhouse Rock! Including the famed “I’m Just A Bill.” EW has the full story.
