Entertainment News: Love and Family

The war in Ukraine had people fleeing for safety, including Dancing with the Stars’ Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Luckily and thankfully he made it back to the USA and into the arms of his loving wife, Petra Murgatroyd.

Shanna Moakler is pregnant. The Celebrity Big Brother alum shared the news this week, shortly after her ex was arrested for felony domestic violence. People Magazine has the full story.

Michael Sheen and Anna Lundberg are pregnant with baby number two! The couple shared the news on his Twitter this week. They share two-year-old daughter Lyra. Sheen is also father to Lily Sheen whom he fathered with Kate Beckinsale.

Euphoria star, Sydney Sweeney is sporting Jonathan Davino’s ring on her finger. The rising star confirmed her engagement this week after being spotted on February 28th out with a rather sizeable rock on her hand.

Chris Pine and Annabelle Wallis are no more. The couple broke up after four years of dating. People magazine reported the end of their romance on March 2nd.

A judge has deemed Kim Kardashian legally single ahead of her official divorce from Kanye West. The couple also settled on custody arrangements in regards to their four children. While that sounds all fine and good, it seems Kanye was not happy with his legal team and fired his lawyer.

Saturday Night Live’s Pete Davidson is in talks to be the next star to board Jeff Bezos’ rocket to space. The famed comedian is hoping to board the Blue Origin ship and be the next celebrity to take the trip.

Crime and Punishment

The family of Jacqueline Avant received some justice this week. Her murderer, Aariel Maynor plead guilty to her December 2nd killing. He is set to be sentenced on March 30th.

Entertainment News: Royal-Tea

Queen Elizabeth II was back in action this week taking video meetings as she recovers from Covid-19. She is said to be in good spirits and on the mend. Sorry, Charles, it’s not time for you to take the throne yet.

Meghan Markle was back in the news. Her sister claims Meghan’s Oprah interview was full of lies and filed court papers. Samantha Markle is suing for defamation citing Markle’s “rags to royalty” tale isn’t true at all. Meghan’s attorney is reminding people this isn’t the first time the Markle family has harassed the Duchess and created a disturbing narrative.

Celebrity Scandals

This is Us costumer is taking on Paramount Studios after she sustained injuries on set. Jill Stager alleges she fell into a hole on the show lot and is saying those in charge we well aware of the premise was not in a safe working condition. Us Magazine has the details.

Wendy Williams’ ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, is suing her talk show’s production company. He claims he was wrongfully terminated by Dumber-Mercury and filed suit on March 1st. He claims he was ousted from his executive producer position based on his marital status when he and Wendy broke up.

Showtime

The long-running daytime drama, Neighbours, is shutting down production after 37 years on the air. The show lost a broadcast partnership in the UK and since were unable to find funding. Showrunners made the announcement on Twitter.

Jennifer Hudson is the newest celebrity to get her own talk show. She will host her own daytime show on Fox. The Jennifer Hudson Show is set to air in the fall.

Skylar Astin is joining the cast of Grey’s Anatomy. The Pitch Perfect actor is set to check into Grey Sloan Memorial in the role of Todd Eames, the genius brother of a pregnant patient. His episodes will begin to air on March 24.

Entertainment News: In Memoriam

The Law & Order franchise lost one of their own this week. Show alum, Ned Eisenberg, known for his roles as James Granick in the original show and Roger Kressler on Law & Order: SVU., lost his battle with cancer at the age of 65.

Also succumbing to a battle with cancer was Farrah Forke. The Wings alum died on February 25th. Her friends confirmed her death to the public on Wednesday. Farrah rose to fame as Alex on the hit show.

Former Nickelodeon star, Kirk Baily died from lung cancer this week at 59 years old. Fans will remember him as Kevin “Ug” Lee in the sitcom Salute Your Shorts in the early ’90s. He went on to lend his voice for many huge productions including Big Hero 6 and ParaNorman. He passed on February 28.

Glee star, Darren Criss is in mourning after the loss of his brother, Charles. Darren took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce his brother’s death. Media reports state the 36-year-old died of suicide.

Chris Wilson was tragically killed in a helicopter accident on Monday night. The National Geographic’s Outback Wrangler star was 34 years old. The crash happened in Australia.

Hardy Boys actor Tim Considine passed away on Thursday at 81 years old. The announcement was made on Friday by his son, Christopher. No cause of death has officially been announced.
