Entertainment News: Love and Family

Sam Hunt is a proud papa. The singer announced the arrival of his baby girl during his Tuesday concert at the Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. This news comes just weeks after he and his wife called off their divorce.

Speaking of divorce, Black-ish creator Kenya Barris filed his paperwork. He is divorcing Dr. Raina “Rainbow” Barris after twenty years of marriage. The couple separated in September 2020.

Nick Cannon has babies number nine and ten on the way. The fertile star announced he is expecting another child. This time with Abby De La Rosa. This bombshell comes just months after he announced Bri Liesl’s pregnancy in January.

Britney Spears is a wife again but this wedding wasn’t without drama. Shortly before taking her vows with Sam Asghari, her first husband, Jason Alexander live-streamed crashing the party. He was taken down by cops and the ceremony went off as planned.

Rebel Wilson is single no more! She came out as dating Ramona Agruma. She is quoted as saying “I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess.”

Kevin Griffin and Erica Kruse are man and wife. The couple took their vows in two ceremonies – one in Italy on May 19th and another in Florida on June 2nd.

HGTV’s Steve Ford welcomed his son into the world on Wednesday. He and wife, Andrea, named the baby boy Jack Michael Ford.

Crime and Punishment

Simone Biles and other survivors of shamed doc Simon Nassar are suing the FBI for one billion dollars in damages. They claim the agency did not properly intervene to stop the doctor and they want damages. TMZ has the details.

Todd & Julie Chrisley may soon head to prison. The couple was found guilty of bank fraud and tax evasion this week. While their sentencing date has yet to be scheduled, the penalty could be up to 30 years behind bars.

Entertainment News: Celebrity Scandals

Another week, another scandal for Ezra Miller. This time, the parents of an 18-year-old woman close to the actor have taken action to keep him away from their daughter. The couple is seeking an order of protection. The hearing is set for next month.

Casting & Changes

Justin Bieber had to cancel several shows due to facial paralysis. The singer announced on Instagram that he was suffering from Ramsay Hunt Syndrome affecting the right side of his face. Get the details here.

RHONY stars Luann de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan are said to be getting a new show inspired by Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie’s Simple Life. According to Page Six, they are in talks with a team to produce a show where they have to live like the rest of us.

Julia Garner landed the much-coveted role of Madonna for the upcoming Biopic. The actress will be transformed into the famed pop star for “The Madonna Project.”

John Cena is heading back to the WWE for Monday Night Raw match to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his debut. Watch for his return to the ring on June 27th.

The Sex and the City team made waves this week when And Just Like That announced the return of Samantha Jones for the second season. The news came with much confusion, though since Kim Cattrall has been adamant about not revisiting the role.

Entertainment News: In Memoriam

Famed singer Jim Seals passed away on Monday evening after struggling with multiple health issues. The Seals and Crofts musician was 80 years old.

The Original Gerber Baby, Anne Turner, passed away on June 7th. The famous face left quite the photo legacy thanks to the Gerber company. She was 95-years-old.

Rock Hall of Famer Alec John Such died on June 5th. The award-winning Bon Jovi bassist’s cause of death was not released at the time of publication. He was 70 years old.

Boxer Simiso Buthelezi died at the young age of 24-years-old. His death comes after a horrifying ring incident on June 7th.

News broke on June 10th of Julee Cruise’s death. The Twin Peaks icon lost her battle with systematic lupus. Her husband made the announcement on his Facebook and is quoted as saying “She left this realm on her own terms.” Cruise was 65 years old.
