Selling Tampa’s Sharelle Rosado is engaged. She said yes to long-time partner Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson on January 7th and officially has his ring on her finger.
Scandal-ridden rapper Kanye West appears to have tied the knot with Yeezy designer and Kim Kardashian look-a-like Bianca Censori in a secret ceremony. The pair were spotted wearing rings at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills although no marriage certificate has been filed.

Legendary director Spike Lee hopes to bring more black and brown director hopefuls behind the camera. He has set up a leadership program to help do just that. The multiple Oscar-winner set up the Spike Lee Fellows Program to support HBCU film students.
Prince Harry made massive headlines this week following the release of his tell-all book Spare. The autobiography sold more than 1.4 million copies in the first 24 hours which broke records worldwide. It now has the largest first-day sales for Penguin Random House.

White Socks pitcher Liam Hendriks opened up this week about his cancer diagnosis. He told the media he has non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and will begin care immediately. Hendrik is quoted as saying he is confident he’ll make a full recovery.
NFL star Damar Hamlin is on the road to recovery. He was released from the University of Cincinnati Medical Center after going into cardiac arrest last week. He was transferred to a Buffalo hospital where he will continue his recovery.
News came this week that Lord of the Dance star Michael Flatley has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. According to the Lord of the Dance’s Instagram account, he has already undergone surgery and will continue with treatment.

Ron Jeremy’s sexual assault case is coming to a standstill. The District Attorney announced the former adult film star is set to be declared incompetent to stand trial. The 69-year-old is said to have severe dementia and will likely be placed in a state-run hospital.
The Ford Motor Company was pleased to welcome actor Frankie Muniz to their competing team for NASCAR’s ARCA series in 2023. Muniz has long been a racing enthusiast and has been competing since the mid-2000s. It has been a childhood dream of his to race full-time.
Disaster struck California this week and mudslides sent several celebrities running from the hills. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Oprah, and Ellen Degeneres were among some of the stars who were affected by the natural disaster. TMZ has the details.
Kevin Spacey is facing seven additional sexual-assault charges in a new trial. This week, he plead not guilty to all counts. His trial date is set for June 6th in a UK court.
Riverside County Sheriff deputies, responding to a call regarding a publicly intoxicated subject, arrested embattled comedian Andy Dick. The 67-year-old was arrested without incident and charged with public intoxication and failing to register as a sex offender. No official response was issued by Dick’s representative since his booking at the Cois Byrd Detention Center in the early morning hours of January 13.

Eminem and 50 Cent are in the process of bringing 8 Mile to the small screen. They’ve announced they are in the process of adapting the movie, which is inspired by Eminem’s life, into a TV show.
There was good news this week for both Jennifer Hudson and Sherri Shepherd. Their talk shows were renewed by Fox. Jennifer will be on stage for the second season while Sherri received a two-year contract.
Felicity Huffman is returning to TV. She takes a lead role in The Good Doctor spin-off show The Good Lawyer. This will be her first appearance since her time behind bars for the college admission scandal.

January 8th marked the death of lifelong journalist Bernard Kalb. The Reliable Sources co-host spent over six decades bringing news to the public working for The New York Times, CBS News, and CNN. He was 100 years old.
90s supermodel Tatjana Patitz last her battle with metastatic breast cancer on January 11. Best known for her memorable appearance in George Michael’s iconic Freedom 90 video. She was 56.
Legendary Guitar virtuoso Jeff Beck passed away on January 10. The two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee suffered a short bout of bacterial meningitis before he died. He was 78.
Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis and Priscilla Presley’s only child, passed away suddenly on January 12 due to an apparent cardiac arrest. The troubled star, who spent her entire life in the limelight, was just 54.
Stuntman Robbie Knievel, son of daredevil Evel Knievel, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on January 13. Knievel followed in his father’s footsteps as a death-defying stuntman from a very young age. He passed away quietly in hospice with his daughters by his side at 60 years old.
January 11 marked the death of Carole Cook. The 98-year-old actress will be fondly remembered for her roles in Sixteen Candles, The Incredible Mr. Limpet, and as a long-time star on Broadway. She died of heart failure days before she would have turned 99.
Randy Bachman reported that his brother, drummer Robbie Bachman, the co-founder of the rock group Bachman-Turner Overdrive passed away on January 12. The cause of death has yet to be disclosed. He was 69.
