My Unorthodox Life star Julia Haart is getting a divorce. The reality TV personality filed the paperwork to dump her husband, Silvio Scaglia after three years of marriage. This comes just shortly after Netflix announced season two is in the works.
Megan Fox is no longer a wife AND a fiancé. She and Brian Austin Green finalized their divorce this week a year after making their separation public. Fox is already sporting Machine Gun Kelly’s engagement ring.
Dr. Who star Jodie Whittaker is pregnant! The actress made history as the first woman to ever take on the doctor role in the iconic show. This is the second baby for her and her husband Christian Contreras.
Also expecting are Quentin Tarantino and his wife. He and Daniella already share a son, Leo, and are delighted to bring another baby into the family.
Eve, formerly of The Talk, welcomed her first child this week. Her little boy, Wilde Wolf Fife Alexander Somers Cooper, was born on February 1st. Eve and her husband, Maximillion Cooper are living in baby bliss.
Anderson Cooper is a dad again! He and his ex (but still best friend) Benjamin Maisani welcomed son, Sebastian Luke Maisani-Cooper to the family.
Illness and Injury
One month after his passing came news of the cause of Bob Saget’s death. He died from head trauma after accidentally hitting his head and falling asleep while concussed. People magazine has the full story.
British Monarch, Queen Elizabeth is being watched closely after Prince Charles’s Covid diagnosis. This comes just days after her announcement she has given her blessing for Camilla to be titled Queen Consort after Charles takes the throne.
Gold Star Accomplishments
Dolly Parton once again proved herself an angel on earth. Her Dollywood theme park announced a new incentive to get her employees in the classroom pursuing their higher education. The park will cover the cost of tuition, books, and fees to all their employees.
Famed director Jane Campion is getting high honors at the Oscars. She is the first woman to be nominated for Best Director twice. She is also the only woman in the running for the 2022 awards in her category.
Entertainment News: Illness and Injury
Comedian Heather McDonald suffered a skull fracture this week after getting dizzy and falling on stage during her Tempe, Arizona show. She was lucky there was medical staff in her audience who got her to the hospital.
Celebrity Scandals
Rapper Snoop Dogg was in the spotlight this week. First, for buying Death Row Records, and again for a sexual assault allegation. The musician claims this is nothing but a shakedown but his accuser is adamant the incident did happen and is taking him to court.
A fitness influencer came under fire this week for her shady meal plans. Brittany Dawn Davis is accused of duping customers into buying personalized plans to help “cure” them of their eating disorders when the truth actually had the opposite effect. TMZ has all the details.
The Duggar family was back in the news, this time after the sisters filed suit for Invasion of Privacy against Springdale and Washington Country authorities. A judge threw out the case citing the women not providing enough proof.
Casting About
Word on the street is Sherri Shepherd is the front runner as the semi-permanent host of The Wendy William’s show. The talk show’s namesake is still in recovery and not expected to return anytime before next season. As for Wendy, she’s currently in a battle with her bank over access to her funds after her former financial advisor told the bank the star was not of sound mind.
Entertainment News: In Memoriam
The world of sports took several hits this week starting with the horrific death of U.S skateboarder, Josh Neuman. He and three others died in a plane crash over Iceland on February 8th. He was 22 years old.
Major League Baseball fans are in mourning after the suicide of Jeremy Giambi. The former player passed away on February 9th. He was 42 years old.
Destinee Lashaee stole fans’ hearts as the first trans star of My 600 lb. Life. She died on Tuesday, one year and a day after the family lost the sister, Destiny. TMZ has the details.
