The Bold and the Beautiful star Romy Park has made an empowering change in her life that involves taking a significant risk that’s paying off for her big time.

Key Takeaways

  • Romy Park embarks on a new career journey.
  • The actress steps behind the camera.
  • Park earned props from her co-stars.

Taking Charge of Her Own Destiny

Park (Poppy) hasn’t been seen much on B&B since Luna (Lisa Yamada) went on her final crazy spree. However, the actress has been busy making changes in her life.

In an Instagram post, Park revealed in December that she was in the process of leaving Los Angeles behind to move back to the East Coast, where she owns a home. Park was working out all the details of her move when an opportunity too good to pass up came her way, forcing her to put her move on hold.

“I’ve been working tirelessly and hoping it’s not too much longer to announce what I’ve been working on,” she wrote as part of her lengthy caption on the social media share.

Park explained that she has taken a step back from acting, including turning down a couple of amazing projects. It’s all for the greater good, though, as Park pursues an avenue that will allow her to be more in charge of her career.

“I have been actively working on becoming a producer so that I can be the boss of my own acting career and to have freedom and autonomy. Those dreams are slowly coming to fruition and it has been years of blood, sweat and tears. I’ve fallen down and heaved myself back up more times than I can count. It has not been an easy road, but for the first time in my life I feel TRULY empowered,” Park expressed.

The soap star admitted it’s been a learning process. Park has stood up for herself like never before and, in the process, has proven her worth, especially regarding her creativity. She showed her love and gratitude for those close to her who have been her rock during this time.

Park gave a special shoutout to the ballet community that has shown up for her in a way she never expected. The actress turned producer hopes to share more details soon, but for now, she is just relishing in this new chapter in her life.

A couple of Park’s B&B co-stars popped up in the comments to gush over her career move. Sean Kanan (Deacon) called Park a “boss”, while Ashley Jones (Bridget) left several fire emojis for Park. (Don’t miss Kanan’s new film with B&B alum Adrienne Frantz).
