Fans of Hallmark Channel and Great American Family Channel programming converged on the New Jersey Expo Center to attend the 5th annual Christmas Con weekend! The event, which began in 2019 (skipping 2020 due to COVID-19), is a celebration of all things Christmas films, featuring actors participating in panels, meeting and greeting fans, vendor booths, and more!
Soap Hub got a backstage pass to all of the action and had the opportunity to interview almost every actor in attendance. Scroll through for an interview with Andrew Walker, B.J. Britt, Marcus Rosner, Paul Greene, and Stephen Huszar.
Andrew Walker
Andrew Walker is a popular Canadian actor and a Hallmark Channel favorite, having starred in over 30 romance and holiday films for the network. His Hallmark hits include Three Wise Men and a Baby, Reluctant Royal, A Bride for Christmas, and Merry & Bright, where he’s known for playing charming, heartfelt leading men alongside stars like Lacey Chabert and Tyler Hynes, his cousin-in-law. Before launching his acting career, Walker was a promising football player whose path changed after an injury led him to pursue acting instead.
B.J. Britt
B.J. Britt is a familiar face to Hallmark movie fans, known for starring roles in beloved holiday favorites such as The Holiday Stocking, Christmas Dilemma, Rediscovering Christmas, and the recent Tidings for the Season. He frequently plays charming leading men opposite strong female leads, making him a standout in Hallmark’s seasonal lineup. Beyond Hallmark, Britt is widely recognized for his roles as Agent Triplett on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Paul Jr. on Being Mary Jane, and Darius Beck on UnREAL, showcasing his range across drama and primetime television.
Paul Greene
Paul Greene is a Canadian actor and musician often dubbed the “Cary Grant of Hallmark,” beloved for his leading-man charm and classic screen presence. He’s best known for playing Dr. Carson Shepherd on When Calls the Heart and for starring in festive favorites such as A Christmas Detour. Discovered through modeling, Greene launched an international fashion career before transitioning into acting, while also balancing music, fitness, faith, family life, and fatherhood, including writing projects aimed at dads. The actor has recently released a Christmas album titled “North County Christmas,” which is available for purchase on his website.
Marcus Rosner
Marcus Rosner is a Canadian actor and Hallmark Channel favorite, known for playing charming leading men in romantic comedies and holiday films. His Hallmark credits include Love on Harbor Island, Christmas in Maple Hills, and recurring appearances on When Calls the Heart. After a Broadway trip sparked his interest in acting, Rosner transitioned from sports to the screen, trained at the Vancouver Film School, and built a successful TV career with roles on Arrow, Supernatural, and UnREAL.
Stephen Huszar
Stephen Huszar is a popular Canadian actor and a mainstay of the Hallmark Channel, known for his numerous leading roles in the network’s romance and holiday films. His Hallmark credits include Love in Glacier National and A Royal Christmas Crush, where he frequently plays charming, dependable romantic leads. Huszar has also appeared in Hallmark Mysteries franchises such as Ruby Herring Mysteries and The Jane Mysteries, as well as the fan-favorite series Chesapeake Shores.
