It’s the most wonderful time of the year. The time when networks, streaming channels, and apps transition into holiday TV movie mode. This year, daytime soap stars — current and former — appear in several of these popular films in November.

A Christmas Frequency (Hulu)
The Holiday Tale: A young radio show producer sets her recently separated boss up on live-on-air blind dates to save their dying show but accidentally falls for one of the contenders and must choose her head or her heart in time for Christmas.
The Soap Connection: Passions’ Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald, AKA Lindsay Hartley, directs The Bold and the Beautiful’s Denise Richards (Shauna Fulton) and James Hyde in A Christmas Frequency. Hyde is Hartley’s former Passions co-star and most recently played Jeremy Stark on The Young and the Restless.
Thursday, Nov. 2
A Wesley Christmas Wedding (BET+)
The Holiday Tale: Family members reunite for a Christmas wedding in this sequel. Before the betrothed couple says, “I do,” the family contends with the shenanigans of a highly controlling mother, a few crazed exes, and a few new additions, some welcome, others merely tolerated.
The Soap Connection: So good to see Y&R alum Loren Lott (ex-Ana Hamilton), B&B’s Aaron Spears (Justin Barber), and One Life to Live’s Valerie Pettiford (Dr. Sheila Price) in this sequel to A Wesley Christmas.
Sunday, November 5
The Santa Summit (Hallmark Channel @ 8 p.m. ET)
The Holiday Tale: At a Santa-themed holiday event, three teachers get their groove back, strengthen their friendship, and unexpectedly find love along the way.
The Soap Connection: Former Y&R star and current Hallmark darling Hunter King (ex-Summer Newman) takes the lead in this new holiday flick.
Thursday, November 9
Mystery on Mistletoe Lane (Hallmark Movies & Mysteries @ 8 p.m. ET)
The Holiday Tale: New to town, Heidi Wicks and her kids discover a Christmas mystery in their historic home. Local handyman and historian David helps along the way, finding his own surprising connection.
The Soap Connection: Sure, Victor Webster’s a Hallmark Media veteran now. But way back before Hallmark, he was Nicholas Alamain on DAYS.
Friday, November 10
A Holiday I Do (Tello Films Network)
The Holiday Tale: Complications arise when a single mother falls for her ex-husband’s beautiful and sophisticated wedding planner during the holidays.
The Soap Connection: Jill Larson, who wonderfully played Opal Cortlandt on All My Children, stars in this movie that streams on an app called the Tello Films Network.
Thursday, November 16
Sworn Justice: Taken Before Christmas (BET+)
The Holiday Tale: A detective and her DA boyfriend are both informed that the other has been kidnapped. Ahead of the holiday, they are locked out of their computers and phones and must follow the demands of a menacing voice giving them orders.
The Soap Connection: This Christmas thriller stars a couple of Y&R’s loveliest alums: Mishael Morgan (ex-Hilary Curtis/Amanda Sinclair) and Vivica A. Fox (ex-Stephanie Simmons). Fox also appeared on DAYS and Generations.
Best. Christmas. Ever! (Netflix)
The Holiday Tale: Every Christmas, Jackie sends a boastful holiday newsletter that makes her old college friend Charlotte feel like a lump of coal. When a twist of fate lands Charlotte and her family on Jackie’s snowy doorstep just days before Christmas, she seizes the opportunity to prove her old friend’s life can’t possibly be that perfect.
The Soap Connection: Matt Cedeño — Nicole’s brother Brandon Walker on DAYS — stars alongside Brandy, Heather Graham, and Jason Biggs (ex-Pete, As the World Turns) in this Netflix holiday rom-com.
Saturday, November 18
A Merry Scottish Christmas (Hallmark Channel @ 8 p.m. ET)
The Holiday Tale: When estranged siblings Lindsay and Brad travel to Scotland at Christmas to reunite with their mother, Jo, a big family secret is revealed.
The Soap Connection: AMC alum Lacey Chabert teams up with her former Party of Five TV brother Scott Wolf for this new holiday flick. They’re playing siblings again!
Sunday, November 19
A Paris Christmas Waltz (Great American Family @ 8 p.m. ET)
The Holiday Tale: Emma relinquishes her job so a colleague with a family will keep his. Contemplating life’s next steps, Emma meets a professional dancer, Leo, whose love for competitive dancing is waning until a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity arises for the novice to join the pro and sweep all of Paris off its feet.
The Soap Connection: DAYS and General Hospital alum Jen Lilley and Glee’s Matthew Morrison play the veteran and amateur dancers. Lilley recently wrapped up a stint as sinful schemer Theresa Donovan.

So Fly Christmas (BET+)
The Holiday Tale: After being left at the altar on Christmas Eve, a woman and her best friend renounce love. Things become complicated when the woman’s best friend falls for a record store owner and tries to keep it under wraps.
The Soap Connection: DAYS’ Paulina Price herself is part of the So Fly Christmas ensemble. Yes, Jackée Harry is in for the holiday TV movie fun with a cast that also includes Tichina Arnold (ex-Zena, Ryan’s Hope; ex-Sharla, AMC) and Tommy Davidson.
Saturday, November 25
Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up (Hallmark Channel @ 8 p.m. ET)
The Holiday Tale: Christmas on Evergreen Lane is ready to sleigh again. As the holidays approach, Emily and Jared are looking forward to celebrating the holidays together again, this time as a couple.
The Soap Connection: This is the sequel to what was one of last year’s most fun movies (tied with Hallmark’s Three Wise Men and a Baby). Chabert stars in another Hallmark original holiday TV movie this month. GH’s Ellen Travolta (Gloria Cerullo) is in it, too.
Christmas at the Chalet (Lifetime @ 8 p.m. ET)
The Holiday Tale: When ex-TV host and socialite Lex finds herself faced with the possibility of spending Christmas sharing a luxury chalet with her son, ex-husband, and his new girlfriend, she volunteers to work in the chalet to avoid things getting too close to home while documenting her every move for a new wave of followers loving this new chapter of her life.
The Soap Connection: Yay for William deVry! Soap fans know DeVry from his days on AMC, B&B, and as Julian Jerome on GH. Now he’s starring opposite Teri Hatcher (ex-Angelica, Capitol) for this snow-filled Lifetime Original Holiday TV movie.
