What is Nathan Grant doing now?
Nathan is about to embark on one of the most dangerous missions of his life. And it’s all because of a mysterious coin—the new preview for When Calls the Heart revealed more details about his undercover mission.
The preview for WCTH Season 12, Episode 5, “Mom’s The Word.” Nathan (Kevin McGarry) goes on an undercover mission. The preview video for the upcoming episode reveals that Nathan will transform into an undercover officer. His transformation is sure to make the Hearties swoon.
Nathan informs Bill (Jack Wagner) and Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) of new details about the mysterious coin they found at The Mercantile. It originated in the Great Rocky Mountains during the infamous train robbery. Nathan learned that the rare coin is from 1906 and features a double-headed eagle. He has to plan this mission carefully since it could put him in grave danger.
Bill and Rosemary aren’t sure whether the Mountie can transform himself. He has to fit the part of a privileged man. Rosemary exclaims, “He’s got to be believable. Wardrobe. Attitude. A whole new persona. Very cloak and dagger!” Nathan steps out in a white tuxedo jack, black bow tie, and matching black pants. He gives off major James Bond vibes.
Nathan is ready to go. As he heads down Main Street, Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) looks shocked by his new look. She wants to know what’s going on. Bill tells her that she will find out later. Nathan is ready to go on his undercover mission. But will he succeed?
The end of the video shows Nathan with a martini glass. He sits next to a mysterious person. This isn’t the only thing that happens in the next episode. Elizabeth is also taking on a new role. She will change her usual approach to teaching. (Find out how Hallmark is shaking things up on WCTH.)
“A familiar face also makes a return, bringing along an unlucky heiress. This twist could lead to drama and intrigue as the townspeople react to her presence,” the synopsis on TV Everyday reads. “Additionally, Lucas and Lee will confront their differences, adding another layer of tension to the story.”
