Kerstin Lindquist shocked viewers when she announced her departure from QVC. The host has been part of the network for 13 years. However, Kirsten feels called in a different direction. She revealed that she has to follow the next mission in her life.

Why Lindquist is Leaving QVC

On Saturday, December 21, Kerstin shared a special message with viewers during “Saturday Morning Q.” She announced that she was exiting the company in January. This might come as a shock to some viewers. Typically, hosts announce their departure a month or so ahead.

But Kerstin felt led to a different direction in her life. She couldn’t waste time. She had to jump onto this opportunity. “You’ve all been with me for 13 years and on this show for 11 years. It has been my home, and I have been so blessed, but it is time for me to move on,” Kerstin shared.

Her final taping for “Saturday Morning Q” is on December 28. She will host “five or six more shows” in early January before departing from the home shopping network. In her message, Kerstin unveiled her next plan for her life.

“The time has come for me to follow what the Lord has really been calling me to do. Ever since you watched me go be a missionary and bring my son home, things really changed,” she explained.

Kerstin wants to “make more of a difference in women’s life, in health, and in faith.” She also wants to spend more time at home with her family. She felt “more called” to treasure the years she has left with her teenage daughters while they’re still at home.

Not Goodbye

For Kerstin, this isn’t goodbye. She encouraged Q watchers to follow her on social media, where she will share her journey. Over on Instagram, Kerstin promotes her health and wellness business. She also started a podcast called St.Rest. In her latest Instagram post, she explained what’s happening next in her life.

“I pray I’ll still be able to serve you in what’s to come for me in 2025, and I know if you follow along, you will continue to be blessed,” she teased in the caption.

Kerstin isn’t the only one who’s leaving QVC in 2025. Jennifer Coffey announced her departure last month. Her final taping is on New Year’s Eve. (Here’s why she’s leaving the network.) Veteran host Mary Beth Roe will officially retire in March.
