What to Expect from Hallmark's Holiday Sequel "Three Wiser Men and a Boy"

Once again, the Brenner brothers sport their Santa’s Elves suits for a sequel to Hallmark Channel’s 2022 hit film Three Wise Men and a Baby. For this follow-up, the men are wiser, their dance moves are still strong, and the baby has become a boy. Three Wiser Men and a Boy starts off with a massive five-year time jump to tell a new festive story.

The Brenner Boys are Back

Three Wiser Men and a Boy hopes to live up to the hype of the first movie. After all, that one became the #1 most-watched cable movie of 2022. For the sequel, the action jumps ahead five years, and Thomas is in kindergarten. He’s adorable and a bit shy as his class struggles to put on a holiday pageant.

Returning for the fun are Andrew Walker (Luke), Paul Campbell (Stephen), and Tyler Hynes (Taylor), three of Hallmark Channel’s biggest stars. Miles Marthaller plays Luke’s son, Thomas. As the World Turns alum, Margaret Colin returns as Barbara, the matriarch of the Brenner family. Colin was also in 1987’s Three Men and a Baby, the movie that inspired this Hallmark franchise.

Through a series of shenanigans, curveballs, and just bad luck, the lovably obnoxious Brenner boys get put in charge of Thomas’s holiday pageant. It’s much more challenging than it sounds. Plus, the guys have to contend with the consequences of their life choices. Ultimately, it’s up to each of them to figure their lives out. And if that’s not enough, their mom suddenly has a boyfriend, and the guys do not handle that news well.

Three Wiser Men and a Boy premieres on Hallmark Channel on Saturday, November 23 at 8/7c.
