The Fall Into Love 2024 lineup included the previous films His and Hers, Falling Together, The Heiress and the Handyman, and The Real West. Haunted Wedding continues to bring the romance with a new twist. This comforting movie is perfect for Halloween and spooky season.
The official synopsis of the film from the Hallmark Channel reads: “Jana and Brian’s plan to wed is in jeopardy when Angelique, a ghost in an 18th-century wedding dress, vows to stop it. The couple must work together to save their wedding from disaster.”
The couple works together as ghost hunters. The festivities are interrupted as they figure out what the ghosts want from them. Their paranormal quest takes fans on a fun ride. This film is unlike anything that fans have seen on the network.
Janel Parris plays Jana, and Dominic Sherwood plays Brian. Parrish was best known for her role as Mona on Freeform’s Pretty Little Liars. She also appeared on all three of the wildly popular To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before franchise on Netflix.
Sherwood previously played Jace Wayland in Shadowhunters and starred in the Netflix series Partner Track. His acting credits include Not Fade Away and Vampire Academy.
Hallmark is giving the fans what they want. They’ve been wanting more romantic comedies on the network. However, most of the plot will revolve around the romance between the paranormal investigators.
Brian proposed to Jana with a ring. They decided to have their dream wedding in an old, haunted manor. However, an 18th-century ghost prevents the couple from having their wedding. The ghost of the manor mistakes Brian for her deceased fiance.
To have their wedding, Brian and Jana must hire a ghostbuster to drive out the ghosts. Will it work? The Deseret News called Haunted Wedding one of the “top 10 must-see Hallmark movies this fall.” It has the perfect balance of charm, humor, and romance.
