Countdown to Christmas has been bringing the holiday cheer to Hallmark Channel viewers for months. However, while we certainly aren’t trying to jump past the jolliest season of the year, we do want to put the first slate of movies for 2026 on your radar. Surprisingly, no one, beloved actress Lacey Chabert (Whose new movie, She’s Making a List, is delightful!), is kicking off the January romances, this time while stranded on an island.

Here’s what you need to know about Lost in Paradise and the four other movies a part of Hallmark’s Winter Escape theme for the top of the year. Viewers can anticipate that the new films will take them through a destination romance.

Key Takeaways

  • Titles and synopses for the January films.
  • The two lead actors in each movie.
  • When you’ll need to be seated or set your DVR to catch these Hallmark offerings.

Hallmark Movies Coming in January 2026

Lost in Paradise

Premiere date: Saturday, January 3 at 8 p.m. ET

Lacey Chabert and Ian Harding are the romantic leads of Lost in Paradise, a film that throws two people together on a “deserted” island. One is the founder of a high-end fashion company, while the other is a chef. As they work to survive in the beautiful locale, they’ll be falling in love along the way.

A Melbourne Match

Premiere date: Saturday, January 10 at 8 p.m. ET

Georgie (Mallory Jansen) is a workaholic travel writer. But when she’s sent to Melbourne on assignment, she finds herself stepping away from her laptop more than she anticipated. That’s the fault of Zach (Ryan Corr), an Australian ex-footballer who becomes her tour guide during her trip. As they explore, Zach teaches Georgie that there should be more to her life than work.

Love on the Amazon

Premiere date: Saturday, January 17 at 8 p.m. ET.

In a nod to Jungle Cruise, this Hallmark romance stars Jaicy Elliott as Gabby, a woman who travels to the Amazon to find her sister, a researcher conducting a study deep in the rainforest. During her travels, Gabby meets Ryder (Rafael de la Fuente), a rugged riverboat captain who catches her eye.

Caught by Love

Premiere date: Saturday, January 24 at 8 p.m. ET

There’s an undercover investigation afoot in Caught by Love, which will see Rachel Leigh Cook and Luke McFarlane paired in an unexpected, but adventurous romance. It all starts when a resort guest, who’s supposed to be on a journey of self-discovery, gets tangled up in a plot involving stolen jewels.

Missing the Boat

Premiere date: Saturday, January 31 at 8 p.m. ET

Kelly and Parker don’t know each other, but when they both miss the boat during a stop, they have to work together to meet back up with the Italian cruise line that has left them behind. As they race across the south of Italy, they go from strangers to something more. Missing the Boat stars Emilie Ullerup and Kristoffer Polaha.
