Don’t worry Dancing with the Stars fans, Dylan Efron is okay. His nose has just seen better days. The reality TV star took to Instagram to let his followers know that he’d sustained an injury during rehearsal. But it’s not going to stop him from putting on his dancing shoes and hitting the ballroom floor. He just may be sporting a bandage or two as he does.

What Happened To Dylan Efron’s Nose?
Efron’s injury is a reminder that ballroom dance is a beautiful and elegant art form, but it’s also quite physical. In a video as part of his Instagram post, the star shared that his pro dancer partner, Daniella Karagach, accidentally injured him. He said:
It’s midnight, and I’m at the hospital because Dani broke my nose. [Laughs] We were trying a new move, and I took an elbow right here [points to the side wall of his nose] and it made a really loud crack. Not how I wanted to end the rehearsal day, but we’ll be back dancing tomorrow.
In his post, Efron is holding a cold pack to his nose while he waits in a hospital room. He also shared the moment before he got a CT scan, which he referred to as “excessive” while laughing. But an abundance of caution is always warranted and likely much appreciated by Karagach, Pasha Pashkov, and Danielle Fishel (who sustained her own injury this season). Efron said, in all caps, that they WOULDN’T leave his side when it happened. While he expressed he’s “seriously all good,” Efron also shared “[it] warms my heart to have friends like them,” because his co-stars were so supportive.

Well Wishes From The DWTS Cast
Seeing Efron’s post, DWTS contestants and pro dancers reached out with their own supportive messages for the injured star. Robert Irwin said, “What!!!!! Feel better mate 👊.” Andy Richter joked that he would be alerting HR. Alix Earle said, “OMG 😢 dylannnnn.”
Emma Slater and Val Chmerkovskiy were both shocked, with Slater hoping that Efron is okay. Mark Ballas sent him love, and Jan Ravnik told Efron to feel better soon.
Former contestant Ilona Maher chimed in with “Ballroom dance and rugby aren’t so different I guess.”
As did last season’s winner and host of the DWTS podcast, Joey Graziadei, who said, “Hope you are all good brother!”
Efron will take all this love and best wishes into Tuesday, October 28’s Halloween Night episode, where, who knows, whatever bandage he might have to wear will likely be incorporated into his costume. Tune in at 8 p.m. ET on ABC or Disney+ to see his performance with Karagach. Next day streaming will be available on Hulu.
