Things got tense on the Tuesday, February 4 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. During Season 14, Episode 10, Dorit Kemsley dropped new bombshells about her marriage to Paul “PK” Kemsley. Erika Jayne advised her co-star to prepare for a divorce.
PK and Dorit’s Marital Woes
Tuesday’s episode opened with a montage of Dorit and PK’s marriage. In 2016, the couple renewed their vows. The episode also showed the worst moments of their lives, including their home invasion. Later in the episode, Dorit, Erika, and Bozoma Saint John go to Kathy’s house for her Capri dinner. Kathy pulled out all the stops for the lavish event.
During dinner, Kathy asked Dorit how she’s been doing. Dorit bluntly admitted that things have been “sh*t” lately. She admitted that she missed her friend. Kathy asked, “I think he’s a very good father. Am I correct?” Dorit responded, “Wrong.” In her confessional, Dorit revealed that PK wasn’t the most hands-on father. “He would disappear and be gone for weeks and weeks without even calling the kids,” she added.
Dorit dropped another bombshell. She shared that PK sent her a seven-page email. He expected her to pay the mortgage and the finances associated with their marital home. PK’s email also mentioned lawyers and custody arrangements. He warned Dorit that if she didn’t follow through, he would file for divorce. That’s when Erika advised her to prepare for it to happen. In her confessional, Dorit shared that she was “willing to go to war.”
How Does Dorit Feel Now?
Does Dorit regret revealing so much about their marriage on RHOBH? On the After Show, she shared whether she still stands by those comments she made. Dorit explained that she was in her feelings after receiving that long-winded email. When they first talked about separation, they agreed to do things amicably. However, Dorit ended up feeling blindsided by their separation.
“When you’re already in the dark, and then you get to a place where you think the absolute worst, that’s a mother effing scary AF place to be,” Dorit told Boz. “And it was just like, ‘Is he a good father?’ No!” Now, Dorit thinks PK is a “good father,” even though he’s not “the most hands-on father.” That’s how she was feeling in the moment.
Still, she’s lucky that their kids have PK for a father. Dorit admitted she didn’t feel great about making those comments. But it was the first time she received a “threatening email” from PK. Boz stands by what she said about “desperation breeds no good strategy.” She feels that her instincts about PK were right. “Believe them,” Boz told Dorit.
