Did Golden Bachelorette’s Joan Vassos Agree To Move To NYC With Chock Chapple?

Joan Vassos’ journey to love on The Golden Bachelorette concluded in November. She gave her final rose to Chock Chapple. Though the two are engaged, they are taking their time. They want to explore their relationship further. On the show, Chock brought up the idea of Joan moving to New York City. Now, the couple is sharing an update about the big move.

House Hunting

Joan and Chock revealed to E! News that they’re seeking a new home. The couple has been house hunting in New York City. “We think we found a place,” Joan teased. She spoke with E! News at the annual iHeartRadio Jingle Ball event in Los Angeles on Friday, December 6.

She attended the event with her fiancé. Of course, Bachelor Nation wants an update about their relationship. Joan and Chock revealed they’re taking the next step: finding the right apartment. “We have a realtor in New York, and she sent us a video of her going through the apartment. It looks great,” Joan added.

They had to agree on the perfect place that reflected both of their personalities. Chock wants a patio that allows him to enjoy a cigar with his friends. Joan is just happy to have a closet that holds all of her clothing and accessories. She joked that if they can’t find an “upstairs patio,” they will have to choose the place with a “walk-in closet.”

Settling Down

The couple is learning much about one another now that they live together. There’s one lesson that Chock already learned. Chock admitted he took Joan’s “cell phone charger.” He uttered: “I’ll never do that again.”

“He knows it’s a pet peeve of mine. I think I have PTSD from when my kids were growing up, and every time I came down to the kitchen, one of their friends had stolen my charger, “Joan explained. Moving was a big decision. Joan and Chock wanted to ensure they were moving to NYC for the right reasons. They realized it was the perfect place to settle down since their respective families lived nearby.

When it comes to marriage, Joan and Chock are not in a rush to run down the aisle. They’re enjoying their time together, away from the cameras. Joan and Chock are now planning to celebrate their first Christmas together at her Maryland home.
