Below Deck Down Under Season 3 is about to get juicier. The Bravo series has been delivering drama since the first episode. Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph found herself in the middle of some of the action. She’s teasing what else fans can expect from this season.

Too Many Cooks

Sometimes, there can be too many cooks in the kitchen. Chef Tzarina found that she would be working alongside Chef Anthony Bird, who was hired as a sous chef. He had to report to Tzarina and assist her with tasks. But Anthony refused. He found a new job before the next charter season. Anthony revealed his plans with Tzarina. She immediately reported it to Captain Jason Chambers, who didn’t pull any punches. He fired Anthony from the boat.

In an interview with TV Insider, Tzarina shared her reaction to his firing. She was surprised by how quickly Jason responded. Even though it didn’t go well, Tzarina was “super excited” to have a sous chef working with her. She had no idea that it meant the galley would be so massive that she would need additional help. “Then when I saw the galley, I was like, ‘Yep, need a sous chef,'” Tzarina noted.

Things Get Steamy

Elsewhere in the interview, Tzarina talked about her history with Chief Stew Lara Rigby. The two previously worked together on a boat. Though the two became close, they still feel like polar opposites, especially with their work styles. Lara’s perfectionism will create tension between them this season.

“I think throughout the season her not being able to be perfect, because that boat was so hard, it gradually affects us and our friendship and also jobs,” Tzarina explained. “It gets a little steamy. That’s all you’re getting from me, mister.” That’s not the only thing that gets “steamy.” Fan-favorite Harry van Vilet returned this season. He strikes an onboard romance with one of the stews. Tzarina teased that Season 3 is “Harry’s season,” where he gets to “thrive.” She feels like a supportive older sister. Below Deck fans have wondered whether Harry will last through the season after his injury.

As for the rest of the season, Tzarina teases, “All you do is see me struggle, struggle, and struggle some more. A lot more drama to come. A lot of romances to come. A lot of highs and lows.” In fact, it’s so dramatic that the reality show could win an Emmy, Tzarina claims. She’s never witnessed a season like this in Below Deck history.
