When Does 911 Return with New Episodes?

9-1-1 season 9 is back on Thursday, January 8, at 8 p.m. ET with episode 7. The series will pick up where it left off with Hen’s (Aisha Hinds) storyline, where she’s hiding an illness from her family and the 118. In episode 6, “Family History,” she suspected she’d contracted Lyme disease and sought a diagnosis through the doctor at the medical spa she’d shamed earlier over the loss of a patient.

The promo for episode 7 shows Hen confiding in Athena (Angela Bassett) about her illness, but she’s still working with her crew none the wiser about her condition. The tremors she’s experiencing are impacting her ability to be effective in the field. The fainting is also a problem that looks to come to a head at the worst possible time. The 118 are on a dangerous call with lives on the line and have an explosion to contend with when she has her own medical emergency.

The episode will also likely address how Chim (Kenneth Choi) is handling his responsibilities as a captain at the 118, and possibly answer how Harry (Elijah M. Cooper) is faring at the Fire Academy. Watch the promo below:

When does 911: Nashville Return with New Episodes?

9-1-1: Nashville resumes its freshman season on Thursday, January 8, at 9 p.m. ET. Their seventh episode, “Pipe Dreams,” drops viewers back into the middle of the pirate ransomware attack that has taken over every city-controlled device in Nashville. Whoever is at the helm of this scheme is primed to cause mass casualties if they’re not paid 10 million dollars.

As the 113 worry about how to help people caught in the chaos of traffic lights being switched to green, causing pile-ups, and a boat set to crash, dispatch will have to work through their command center being taken over by the ransomware. However, what the Hart family doesn’t know is that Blythe (Jessica Capshaw) has fallen from her horse into a barbed wire fence on her property. Unconscious and injured, she needs medical attention, but it’s unclear when she could receive it.
