We’re heading back to 1985! Netflix dropped the very first trailer for the third season of Stranger Things on Wednesday, March 19.
The trailer, set to The Who’s “Teenage Wasteland” shows our favorite group of teenagers — Mike, Will, Lucas, Eleven, and Max — all coming together to prank Dustin after he returns home from camp.
It’s hard to tell what the plot of this third season will be, but the clip shows all of our favorite characters in and around Hawkins.
Nancy and Jonathan are spotted spending time at the Hawkins newspaper, Hopper is seen smoking at dinner, and beloved Steve Harrington is working at an ice cream shop in town.
“We’re not kids anymore,” Mike tells the group in the trailer.
“I mean, what did you think? We’re just gonna sit in my basement all day, play games for the rest of our lives?”
Hopper also tells Joyce, “It is important to me that you feel safe. I want you to feel like this can still be your home.”
At the end of the trailer we see another big monster that is sure to cause trouble in Hawkins.
Fans immediately reacted to the new trailer and shared their excitement on Twitter.
“I’m officially hyped and stressed,” one person wrote.
“This is about to be one hell of a season,” another fan added.
“This trailer makes me exceedingly happy! I cannot wait to see this season!” somebody else shared.
A fan also said, “ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW I’m ready but I’m NOT READY.”
