Viewers of NCIS haven’t seen a new episode since the Season 17 finale, titled The Arizona, aired on April 14, 2020 but that long drought will be over when Season 18 premieres on November 17! For those who can’t wait until then, the show has released a sneak preview that teases all the feels as the beloved team goes all-in to save a little girl.

NCIS Teaser

The coronavirus pandemic shutdown of Hollywood affected most shows and NCIS was no exception. In some ways, fans have lucked out because Jack (Maria Bello) was supposed to exit but because of the abbreviated shooting season, she will remain for a few episodes this season. So what can fans expect from the premiere?

In this first new episode, titled Sturgeon Season, a child has gone missing and belongs to one of their own. Each team member is needed to help bring the little girl home to her frightened mother, NCIS Special Agent Veronica Tyler, played by guest star Victoria Gabrielle Platt (ex-Dr. Amanda Raynor, Days of our Lives; ex-Vicky Spaulding, Guiding Light).

It looks like they’re joined by FBI special agent and Gibbs BFF, Tobias Fornell (Joe Spano), but Gibbs (Mark Harmon) wants to make sure they do this right. Along the way, the team realizes that someone is targeting them. Tempers run high, distrust spreads, but can they pull it together in time to save a life?

As is always with NCIS, things look incredibly bleak but in the end, it looks like Gibbs gets to interrogate at least one dirtbag — but will he get the answers he needs in time? Will relationships and friendships be tested — and if so, will they survive intact? On the bright side, it looks like we get some Ducky (David McCallum) action!

Check out the promo below. NCIS premieres on November 17 and airs Tuesdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
