A favorite DiMera twosome is back on the scene. Leann Hunley and Thaao Penghlis reprise their roles as Anna and Tony, this week. The pair, who were last seen in Prague, will be returning to Salem.

Look for Hunley to share key scenes with Kate Mansi on Thursday, March 26 as Anna and Abigail confer on Chad’s (Billy Flynn) odd behavior. Plus, Hunley and Penghlis will also be attending “Stefano’s” (Stephen Nichols) impromptu wedding to Marlena (Deidre Hall).

Victoria Platt has exited as Dr. Raynor, after the baby switching physician was convinced to leave Salem by Xander (Paul Telfer). However, this isn’t the last viewers will see of the character. The duplicitous doc will be back, as the Rachel-Mackenzie swap plot continues to unfold.

Days of our Lives History

DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

From Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) evil schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.

Bringing the Drama

It is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB). DAYS airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for air times.
