Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher aren’t mean parents. Not at all. However, this particular celebrity couple can be quite strict when it comes to their kids.
For instance, when Christmas comes around again this December 25, the dynamic acting duo have done away with the usual gift exchange.
That’s right! Their kids (Wyatt, 3, and Dimitri, almost 1) are not going to get any Xmas presents in what seems like a very positive move on the part of these harmonious Hollywood parents.
Kunis told ET’s Brooke Anderson, “Our tradition is [now going to be] no presents for the kids. We’re instituting [the policy] this year because when the kids are [younger than] one, it doesn’t really matter.”
She also admits, “Last year when we celebrated Christmas, Wyatt was two and it was too much.”
The A-list actress states that she and her famous husband didn’t gift either child anything during last year’s Christmas celebration, but their grandparents did. Big time.
“The kids no longer appreciate the one gift. They don’t even know what they’re expecting; they’re just expecting stuff,” shares Kunis.
She adds, “We’ve told our parents, ‘We’re begging you — if you have to give [your granddaughter] something [then] pick one gift. Otherwise, we’d like to take a charitable donation, to the Children’s Hospital or a pet [or] whatever you want.’ That’s our new tradition.”
