Luke Perry’s friends and co-stars are hoping for his speedy recovery after suffering a stroke earlier this week. The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star was taken to the hospital on Wednesday, February 27.
“My friend. Holding you tight and giving you my strength. You got this,” Shannen Doherty captioned a photo of the pair on Instagram.
Another one of his Beverly Hills, 90210 co-stars Ian Ziering shared a photo of the duo on Instagram.
“No words can express what my heart feels hearing today’s shocking news. Let us all say a prayer for his speedy recovery,” he wrote.
“Praying hard for Luke Perry today. May he have a full and fast recovery,” actor Dean Cain tweeted.
“I just heard the frightening news about my dear old friend Luke Perry having a massive stroke. Luke honey I am praying so hard for you right now, I love you so much, and by God’s Grace you will get through this. Please pray for Luke,” actress Kristy Swanson wrote.
A few of his Riverdale co-stars also sent him love on social media, including Lili Reinhart and Molly Ringwald.
“Thinking of you, Luke. And praying for your safe recovery,” Reinhart captioned a photo of the pair.
“Sending my love to Luke Perry,” Ringwald tweeted.
It’s still unclear what Perry’s condition is, but he is still under observation at the hospital.
