Luke Perry has reportedly been hospitalized after suffering a stroke on Wednesday, February 27.
According to TMZ, paramedics were called to Perry’s home around 9:40 a.m. in Los Angeles. He was then taken to a nearby hospital, but it’s unclear as to what his condition is right now.
His rep Arnold Robinson also told The Hollywood Reporter that he “is currently under observation at the hospital.”
The actor, who stars as Fred Andrews on the show Riverdale, had been shooting episodes in Los Angeles. While fans know him best from 90210, soap fans will remember him from Another World and Loving.
This news comes one day after Fox announced a Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot called 90210.
Though Perry is not involved in the reboot, his former co-stars Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Jason Priestley, Brian Austin Green, Tori Spelling, and Gabrielle Carteris will be.
“Having gone their separate ways since the original series ended 19 years ago, Jason, Jennie, Ian, Gabrielle, Brian and Tori reunite when one of them suggests it’s time to get a Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot up and running,” the description of the show reads.
“But getting it going may make for an even more delicious soap than the reboot itself. What will happen when first loves, old romances, friends and frenemies come back together, as this iconic cast — whom the whole world watched grow up together — attempts to continue from where they left off?”
Our thoughts are with Perry and his family during this difficult time!
