In fact, Dodds reveals he’s leaving SVU and heading to Staten Island. “I’m being sent to Coventry. As of Monday morning, I’ll be riding point for the Traffic and Pedestrian Safety Task Force on Staten Island,” he tells Benson.
Bittersweet Moment
Though Benson is upset to hear this, Dodds reveals his departure comes with good news for her. “You’ve still got work to do and gas in the tank. It’d be a wasted sacrifice… Captain. I made it a condition of my exile. Don’t worry about me. I’ll be back,” he says. Watch the video above to see how the whole scene plays out.
