Law & Order: SVU Flashback – Benson and Barba Say Goodbye

Countless fans were devastated to hear about Barba’s (Raúl Esparza) departure on Law & Order: SVU, especially because he had such a special friendship with Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay).

In this emotional flashback video, Barba says goodbye to Benson and explains how much she has changed his life. “You know when we first started working together, what was it five years ago?” Barba says before Benson interjects, “Six.”

Barba continues, “I was absolutely sure, absolutely, who were the good guys, who were the bad guys, and then you started to weasel your way into my world and the black and white became different shades of grey.” Watch the whole clip above to see their sweet goodbye!
