Law & Order: SVU Deleted Scene: Benson Advises Rollins On Dr. Al

Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish) struggled trying to figure out her dynamic with her baby-daddy, Dr. Al (George Newbern) throughout most of Season 20 of Law & Order: SVU.

While Rollins enjoyed spending time with Al and knew he’d be a good dad, she wasn’t quite sure she was ready to take that next step. In this deleted scene, Rollins tells Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) that Al asked her to move in with him.

“Jesse likes him. Frannie likes him. He’s got a huge place, I mean each of the kids would have their own room,” Rollins tells Benson without seeming as excited as one would expect.

“OK, but what does that mean for you?” Benson asks back, wanting to understand how Rollins feels about it. Watch the clip above to see the very sage advice Benson gives Rollins about her relationship.
