Lauren Burnham Celebrates A BIG Milestone With Husband Arie!

Happy anniversary, Lauren Burnham and Arie Luyendyk Jr! Though the happy couple just got married a couple of months ago, they just celebrated the first anniversary of their engagement.

As many fans will remember, Luyendyk shockingly decided to break up with the woman he picked during The Bachelor finale, Becca Kufrin, so he could pursue a relationship with Burnham.

After a few months of dating Burnham, Luyendyk decided to propose during The Bachelor finale episode.

While many people thought the whole thing was nuts, the couple has certainly proved the haters wrong. Not only are they married, but they are also expecting their first child in just a few months!

Burnham celebrated their first anniversary on Instagram with a sweet post.

“A year ago today I got engaged to the love of my life while the world watched,” the 27-year-old wrote on Wednesday, March 6.

“Our story is pretty unconventional, but it’s ours. Grateful for @bachelorabc bringing us together, because he’s the best thing that ever happened to me. Happy engagiversary babe. Xo.”

Burnham also recently gave fans an update on her pregnancy and revealed she’s already 27 weeks along!

“27 weeks old and a lot to catch you guys up on! First off some big news … I’m breathing now! (amniotic fluid, not air but still cool). This week I’m the size of a large bottle of Sriracha… spicy!” she wrote from her baby’s Instagram page.

“My little brain has been really active, it’s developing quickly… Makes sense because I have been googling up a storm in here learning about what to expect when I meet all of you. I weigh almost 2lbs and I’m around 14” tall.”

The post continued, “I have been getting into a routine of sleeping and waking up at the same times and I can also open and close my eyes. It’s dark as heck in here, but I can see lights and shadows around me so that’s entertaining.”
