Ryan Fischer, Lady Gaga’s dog walker, was ambushed outside his home Wednesday night and shot by a person or persons unknown who stole two of the three dogs left in his charge.
Lady Gaga’s Dog Walker Shot, 2 French Bulldogs Stolen
TMZ reports that the incident took place last night, just before 10 pm. Fischer was apparently outside his West Hollywood apartment in the company of Gaga’s three French Bulldogs – Koji, Gustav, and Miss Asia – when the attack occurred.
The gunman absconded with two of the dogs, Koji and Gustav. Miss Asia, who had managed to give her pursuer the slip, was later recovered and placed in the custody of Gaga’s bodyguard.
The Rain On Me singer, who’s currently ensconced in Italy for the filming of the Ridley Scott-helmed Patrizia Reggiani Gucci biopic, was described as “extremely upset” by a close source.
She’s also issued a $500,000 reward for the return of her dogs – no questions asked. Anyone with any information on the case should email: KojiandGustavo@gmail.com.
Law enforcement has admitted that they have yet to determine whether or not Lady Gaga’s dogs were targeted specifically. There is a high demand for the French Bulldog breed, so it is possible that the attack was merely a random crime of opportunity.
Fischer was transported to the hospital in an unknown condition, though he is expected to make a full recovery according to a source for TMZ. The gunman is still currently at large, as of 7:46 AM PT, the LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division has taken over the investigation.
Gustav was added to Lady Gaga’s furry brood back in 2016. At the time of the pup’s adoption, the performer took to her Instagram and shared, “I’m proud to announce we added a new member to the #JOANNE family. I haven’t’ named him yet but I call him both cowpig and moopig in the meantime.” Entertainment Hub sends Lady Gaga best wishes that her dogs are returned quickly.
