Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have done many Instagram posts together. Now, they’ve done another one — sort of — in light of the coronavirus. The former star of The Good Place took to social media to explain how her family is staying together no matter what!
Kristen Bell Gets Creative
“@daxshpard Got back from travelling on Monday,” Bell posted. “To be cautious, I asked him to stay at a friend’s empty apartment for a bit to make sure he had no symptoms. Today we were missing him so much, we did the only logical thing we knew how to do. Danced outside his window to a @bensplatt and @dearevanhansen serenade. #staysane #stayhome #wereinthistogether #wavingthroughawindow.”
As you can see in the video, Bell and her daughters (born in 2013 and in 2014) with Shepard entertained the actor outside the window of his temporary residence with singing and dancing. The song choice was quite appropriate – Waving Through a Window, which is from the Broadway hit Dear Evan Hansen.
“The[y] miss there daddy,” posted @lauren.jennings.5688. “I love this!! Thanks for having such a bright look in this. This week has been so hard for our family.”
Shepard and Bell began dating in 2007. They were set to wed but opted to delay making their commitment legal until California legalized same-sex marriage. The two actors co-starred in the films When in Rome (2010), Hit and Run (2012), and CHiPs (2017).
Bell and Shepard were wed on October 13, 2013, following section 3 of the Defense of Marriage Act being ruled unconstitutional in June 2013.
Shepard and Bell, in 2019, founded Hello Bello, a company that’s all about plant-based baby care products. The line puts an emphasis on creating products that are both affordable and environmentally friendly.
Upcoming projects for Bell include the TV series Gossip Girl (a new version), Central Park, and Do, Re, & Mi. Shepard stars on the ABC sitcom Bless This Mess. For updates on the coronavirus, check out the website for the Center for Disease Control at CDC.gov.
