Katy Perry And Orlando Bloom Are Now Officially Engaged!

Katy Perry is officially an engaged woman! Silverscreen heartthrob Orlando Bloom asked the pop star to marry him on Thursday, February 14… AKA Valentine’s Day!

The happy couple confirmed the exciting news on their Instagram pages.

“Full bloom,” she captioned a photo of the couple while also showing off her ring.

“Lifetimes,” Orlando captioned the same picture on his page.

A number of celebrities liked Katy’s photo on Instagram, including Kacey Musgraves, Karlie Kloss, Dua Lipa, and Stranger Things young star, Millie Bobby Brown.

Not to mention, Katy’s mother, Mary Hudson, also shared some photos from the engagement on her Facebook page.

“Look who got engaged last night,” she wrote alongside the photos.

Katy and Orlando’s relationship first started back in early 2016 when they were caught getting close at a Golden Globes party.

They then started spending more time together — even going on vacations — and seemed to be a real couple falling in love.

They ended up calling off their relationship in 2017 for a brief bit, but they got back together just a few months later.

After rekindling their romance, both Katy and Orlando have been relatively private about their relationship.

However, Katy did recently share a photo of Orlando on her Instagram page last month to wish him a happy birthday.

“Happiest 42nd birthday to the kindest and cutest man I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with,” she captioned the adorable photo.

This will be the second marriage for both Katy and Orlando. Katy was previously married to comedian Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012, while Orlando was married to model Miranda Kerr from 2010 to 2013.

Orlando also shares a son with Miranda, 8-year-old Flynn.
