There isn’t much for her Flight Attendant character to celebrate – given the fact that she’s the prime suspect numero uno in a murder investigation. Luckily, the same can’t be said for performer Kaley Cuoco, beloved for her many years as Penny on The Big Bang Theory, who’s about to recognize a very special milestone.
Happy Birthday, Kaley Cuoco!
And that’s because she was born on November 30, 1985, in Camarillo, California, which means that this adorable star is turning 35 years old today! Cuoco made her professional acting debut in 1992, in the made-for-television thriller Quicksand: No Escape.
One year later, she played “Young Angela Chase” in an episode of the teen drama My So-Called Life, and in 1995 she appeared in the feature film Virtuosity. Subsequently, Cuoco guest-starred in episodes of programs like Northern Exposure (1994), Ellen (1996), and The Tony Danza Show (1998) and had roles in pictures such as Toothless (1997), Mr. Murder (1998), and Can’t Be Heaven (1999).
In 2000, Cuoco portrayed former The Brady Bunch star Maureen McCormick in the biographical film Growing Up Brady, and landed lead roles in a sitcom – Ladies Man – and a Disney Channel original film titled Alley Cats Strike Back.
Between 2002 and 2005, Kaley Cuoco played Bridget Hennessy in the sitcom 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter (later retitled 8 Simple Rules upon the death of series star John Ritter). During her tenure on that show, Cuoco continued to appear in other projects, including the miniseries 10.5, the ABC Family original film Crimes of Fashion, and the independent film Debating Robert Lee.
Afterward, Cuoco starred in a number of projects, included the final season of the fantasy series Charmed (2005-2006). In September 2007, Cuoco assumed the role for which she would become best known: Penny, an aspiring actress, waitress, and an object of great affection for The Big Band Theory’s male populace. For her efforts, Cuoco received Satellite, Critics’ Choice, and People’s Choice Awards.
Cuoco has voiced a number of animated characters for both feature films and TV programs. She gave life to the Bratz character Kirstee Smith in a number of projects, and since 2019, she’s embodied titled anti-heroine Harley Quinn. Through her Yes, Norman Productions company, Cuoco has produced the aforementioned Harley Quinn as well as the thriller series The Flight Attendant.
She is currently shooting the feature film The Man From Toronto with Kevin Hart, Woody Harrelson, Ellen Barkin, and former The Bold and the Beautiful star Pierson Fodé, which is expected to be released in September of next year. Entertainment Hub would like to wish Kaley Cuoco a very happy birthday and many more.
