Justin Bieber is getting honest with fans about his struggle with depression. The singer opened up about his issues on Instagram over the weekend and asked fans for their thoughts and prayers.
He shared a photo of himself on Instagram on Saturday, March 9.
“Just wanted to keep you guys updated a little bit. Hopefully what I’m going through will resonate with you guys. Been struggling a lot. Just feeling super disconnected and weird,” he wrote.
“I always bounce back so I’m not worried just wanted to reach out and ask for your guys to pray for me.”
He continued, “God is faithful and ur prayers really work thanks .. the most human season I’ve ever been in facing my stuff head on..”
Fans first learned about Bieber’s depression back in February.
“He really wants to get better. He has been seeking all the help he can get,” a source told E! News.
“He is in outpatient therapy and getting help every day. This is his focus right now.”
The 25-year-old’s wife, Hailey Bieber, is also working hard to help her husband feel better.
“She’s very involved in his plan of action and making decisions. She’s the rock right now and he goes to her for everything. She listens and is always there for him,” the source shared.
“Hailey has known about his struggles for a long time. He has dealt with depression before and this is not new to her.”
The source continued, “It hasn’t been easy on her. She doesn’t want to see Justin struggle.”
