JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers have been going strong since they fell in love on The Bachelorette back in 2016. Though they are both so far removed from the hit dating show now, they are finally dishing behind-the-scenes secrets from their season!
In fact, on their web series Engaged With JoJo and Jordan, the former football player revealed he was actually approached by producers to go on the show, not the other way around!
“I got a call from a producer a week before filming,” Jordan spilled. Not to mention, when he and JoJo finally met on night one of her season, most of the other contestants were completely wasted.
“The guys on my season were hammered the first night. That was my main memory from night one — y’all were just hammered,” JoJo said.
“I’m all about taking the edge off on night one, because it is a crazy night, and the nerves are insane. But my guys were hammered … it was just a sh*t show, really.”
JoJo also revealed a potentially embarrassing set-side secret from the rose ceremony that may make you laugh.
“I did not remember anyone’s name! Inside scoop, on the first night, when we’re doing the rose ceremony, I go out and I have three names in my head. I go out there, I say the three names, and then we break,” she explained.
“Then I go back into a different room with producers who have a photo of the lineup, so I know where to look. ‘Who’s Jeremy and where is he standing?’ It’s definitely broken up, but you don’t see it.”
Despite the rough start, JoJo and Jordan’s relationship grew stronger and stronger over the course of the show.
Following their engagement, they both moved into a beautiful house in Dallas and have been calling it home ever since!
