Next week it’s all about the trios on Dancing With the Stars and the good news is Joe Amabile’s found a Bachelor pal to join him out on the dance floor.
Joe revealed to Entertainment Tonight following his performance on Monday, October 8 that Jordan Kimball will be hitting the stage with him next week.
“He is our trio partner,” Jenna Johnson, Joe’s partner, revealed.
Though Jordan is going through a bit of a rough time due to all the drama surrounding his relationship with ex-fiancée Jenna Cooper, Joe thinks he’s ready to let loose and have some fun.
“I haven’t even paid attention to [the scandal], because I have to learn how to dance, and I don’t know how to dance, so it’s been taking up most of my time,” Joe said.
“I think he is in a good place right now, and he’s excited about being here, and that’s all that matters.”
And, while fans of Bachelor Nation wanted Joe’s girlfriend Kendall Long to join their performance, there’s a reason she can’t be his trio partner.
“I can’t bring Kendall, because she is such a good dancer. It will really embarrass me. But we dance on our own time, if you know what I mean,” Joe sid.
“She is too good, she really is. I can’t bring her. She’s too good of a dancer.”
Though Joe and Jenna had the lowest scores of the night last week, they are just focused on nailing the choreography and having fun with one another.
“I really try not to take [the judges’ criticism] to heart. I just really wanted to nail the choreography, because I screwed up on her every week, and I feel terrible. She’s an amazing coach,” Joe said.
“I felt really good, and that’s all I really want, so I am happy about it. I mean, I wish we would have gotten a higher score, but you know, we’re here another week.”
Jenna is also excited to shake off their past performances and look forward to their next one.
“I think we finished Monday night, and we just have to erase what happened and start fresh on the new week, and just stay motivated. He worked so hard, so it’s awesome to see him grow. I am so proud,” she said.
