Jennifer Lopez set the bar high for Hurricane Maria donations to help Puerto Rico rebuild after the total devastation. The region needs aid swiftly due to the extreme crisis conditions.
TMZ reports that the Jenny From The Block singer pledged $1 million in relief funds for her parents’ homeland. She’s donating the money from the proceeds of her Las Vegas show, Jennifer Lopez: All I Have, to help the American island nation.
This is the second time in a month that she’s contributed to hurricane relief effort with she and boyfriend Alex Rodriguez sent $25,000 each to help in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey in the Gulf Coast.
Lopez teamed up with Dallas Mavericks owner, Mark Cuban, to send supplies to the region by aircraft. Others sending aid include Lopez’s ex-husband, Marc Anthony, and The New York Yankees. Rodriguez took to Instagram to express his gratitude.
