Jennifer Garner surprised fans with a book announcement this week, but many fans think it’s all a big April Fool’s Joke.
The actress, who is beloved for all she’s done — everything from the TV show Alias to her latest movie Peppermint, shared a video of the “announcement” on Monday, April 1, which showed her cover and the title, Bless Your Heart.
“Hello, good morning. I have some exciting news to share — I have written my first and probably only book,” she said in the clip.
“It’s a real labor of love and I go places I never thought that I would go. But I do. And I just wanna thank everyone who was part of helping me write and create this book, Bless Your Heart.”
She also captioned the post, “I’m thrilled and finally able to share with all of you — I’ve written a book! This whole process has been humbling and illuminating, taking me deep into places I didn’t even know I could go.”
She added, “Thank you to everyone who helped bring these stories to life and held my hand along the way. The time has come for me to share it — I can’t wait to hear what you think. XX Jen #BlessYourHeart.”
Fans commented on the post and asked about the book being an April Fool’s Joke.
“It says forward by my therapist. You got me!! Was even looking on Amazon to buy,” one fan wrote.
“I would believe this, but it’s April 1st. I’m skeptical of everything today. I would love to see a cookbook, though,” another person shared, which is understandable since the actress has her own food company, Once Upon A Farm.
Somebody else said, “Jen, you play too much! Don’t stop. Happy April Fools!!”
