Jamie Otis Can ‘Start Trying’ For Second Child After Miscarriage

Jamie Otis is able to start trying to have another baby following her devastating miscarriage just a few months ago. The former Bachelor star and her husband, Doug Hehner, have been very open with fans about their infertility struggles and recently opened up about the pain of losing another pregnancy.

The Married at First Sight star recently took to Instagram to reveal she’s finally able to start trying for another baby, if they want to.

“I think my body finally realizes it isn’t pregnant anymore. It’s a weird thing to be ‘happy not being pregnant’ when it’s the one thing you want most in the world,” she said.

“But we can start trying again for baby #2 so we are happy!!!”

She continued, “I think it’s kinda silly you have to be trying for a baby for a full year before any doc will see you to help you figure out what’s going on with your body.”

Despite their struggles, Otis and Hehner are parents to 18-month-old Henley Grace.

In fact, Otis recently shared a sweet photo of their little girl on Instagram.

“The last 18 months I’ve played dress up, cleaned up poo explosions, had many, many sleepless nights, and discovered a *love* that’s deeper and stronger than I’ve ever known,” she wrote.

“After going through several pregnancy losses, I fully understand just how lucky I am to be your mama. I will forever thank God, my lucky stars and your big brother in heaven for sending you to me.”

Prior to getting pregnant with Henley, Otis miscarried her son, Johnathan.

We cannot wait to see these two become parents again at some point in the future!
